Seachem Renew is a high quality, phosphate-free substitute for activated carbon filter media. The high pore number allows for the maximum removal of organic particulates in the sub-micron range, ensuring crystal clear and exceptionally healthy water. Due to the fact that Renew is less aggressive than carbon and does not leach phosphates, it makes for an ideal media in delicate soft water, planted and marine based aquariums. The formula effectively controls harmful ammonia, nitrates and phosphates and has absolutely zero impact on trace minerals and essential nutrients. Comes in a 4 liter container.

Instructions:

Use in the same manner as activated carbon. Use 250 mL of Renew for each 120–160 L (30–40 US gallons) of aquarium water. Maximize the flow of water passing through the media for best results. Lasts approximately 4-6 weeks
